Zirkcreek had another great month to crow about in both the obedience rings and the herding arenas.
Sari and I took a road trip to Armstrong and Sari finished her CDX! I'm so proud of her. It was a very difficult venue...very hot, very smelly, no rings set up, NO WINDOWS! in the Okanagan in July lol! But she hung in there and she is now officially

Zirkcreek is having a great year playing in the competitive Obedience rings. At the Richmond show EL earned her first two UTILITY legs with very respectable scores. The big thrill was how entertaining she was in the ring, making spectators laugh, and leaving her judges bemused at her antics! At 10.5 this is very special! the memories we are making together are just priceless! I am over the moon proud of my girlie
EL's daughter Sari also had a great time at the Richmond show. Sari earned her second CDX leg, and again she worked hard and showed well for me!
If this wasn't fun enough, baby Carlee finished her PCD and also had a great time at the Richmond show. GIRLS RULE!!!
A super big brag is in order for Hobbes and his momma Ronnie who absolutely shined at our ARC nationals held at Purina Farms in the US. Ronnie and Hobbes won HIGH IN TRIAL two out of the three trials they competed in, coming very close to a trifecta of HIT wins, winning 2nd place at the third trial with spectacular scores in the 199 + range. WOW we are so proud of you two!! HUGE CONGRATULATIONS

My veteran Ali Bean and I have been playing and having a BLAST back in the Utility ring. After a 4 year absence from the UD ring we ventured back in at the Golden Retriever Trial in March....Ali did such a wonderful job and earned her SECOND Utility leg with a very respectable score of 190.5. We went back into the ring this past weekend at our Dumbbell trial and ALI NAILED IT! Ali finished her CKC OTCH with an absolutely beautiful run 2nd Place!! and a shiny new title!! AT 10.5 years old I am over the moon!
Ali is now OTCH GCH Zirkcreek Bound To You V BAAR RN.
Ali wasn't the only Zirkcreek star at our Dumbbell Club Spring Obedience and Rally trials. Miss Sari earned her first CDX leg with a lovely score and 2nd place! She is a one legged dog!!
If that wasn't enough our baby Carlee made her debut in the competitive obedience ring and earned her first TWO Pre-novice legs at the Dumbbell trial.

Hobbes has been burning up the Agility rings too! He and Cathy earned their THIRD DOUBLE Q as well in Novice Preferred 20 inch Congratulations guys!!! We're so proud of you!!
Dede and Dreamer are having a blast playing in Nose Work and are doing so well! Dreamer finished his Scent Work Novice title, as well as his Adv anced Container title with a very nice 3rd place finish! He also placed Second in Advanced Buried earning his Second Leg, and he place 4th in Advanced Buried for his Second leg.... AND he qualified in Advanced Exterior for his 1st Qualifying leg!! Dreamer loves sniffy games!!!! Congrats guys!! Handsome and smart!
Our Zirkcreek crew also received some pretty awesome mail from the CKC.
Miss Carlee is the #1Rottweiler in CKC Herding in 2025. She is #2 Working Group, and #15 ALL BREED (how about that a Rottie in the Top 20 all breed....right up there with the BCs and Aussies!!! Well Done Carlee!!
Jackie is the #3 Rottweiler in CKC Herding for 2025, Aleesha is #6 and Carlee's little sissie Rayvn also made the Top Herding Rotties chart for 2025 coming in at #4 Zirkcreek is at the top of the charts!!!! We are so proud of our kids!!!
We are starting the year off with a BANG Our Zirkcreek boys from our Hobo x Sari litter have been busy!!!
Hobbes and Ronnie have been hitting the Rally and Obedience rings HARD!! and having a great time together.
Recently Hobbes earned his Rally Novice title with three perfect score. Hobbes also finished his AKC Beginner Novice title with three 199.5 scores! If that wasn't enough, Hobbes and Ronnie also earned his first AKC novice leg with another incredible score of 199! You two are on fire! We are so proud of you both.
Hobbes is also proving to have a great affinity for the agility rings!! He and Cathy (his other mom) have been showing in agility. in January Cathy and Hobbes earned first place in STD N Preferred. And also they were 1st in JWW Novice Preferred. Running LIKE THE WIND in both classes!!!
Dreamer and Dede have also been having a blast in the conformation rings. I am over the moon proud of them both as Dreamer quickly finished his AKC Champion title in Wisconsin in February. Dreamer earned back to back majors at two shows with his fantastic handler. Now onto the super stuff for Dede and Dreamer. Look for them in the obedience rings this year!!!
