Brags and Achievements 2025
I had some major health issues followed by major surgery the last few months of 2024 and into mid 2025. I am BACK baby! My wonderful puppies I've produced have been very very busy and I want everyone to know how successful they are, and how proud I am of them all! I am including the achievements for the end of 2024 with the 2025 achievements and brags!
October 2025
Carlee and Jack got to play at the All Breed ACD National Herding Trial at Downriver and we had a Blast!! Carlee earned her 2nd Herding Intermediate leg, and Jack earned two more Intermediate legs and was 2nd and 1st respectively. Miss Rayvn had a fantastic two day trial as well, dipping her toes into Started Sheep and earning her first two legs with super nice runs and a 2nd place. Super proud of our Zirkcreek herding team!!!!
Jack and Carlee also got some mail this month from the AHBA herding club. It's always fun to get the official certificates!!
September 2025
Our Sari x Hobo darling Z has been super busy with his mom Tami. Z ROCKED the obedience ring Earning his AKC CD in three straight runs and finishing WITH A BANG winning High in Trial! We are over the moon proud of these two! What a fantastic way to earn a new title!! And our versatile Z got a chance to try his paw at herding! Z, of course had a blast and earned his first herding titlem, a shiny new Herding Capability Test title, with GLOWING comments from both his judgesat the AHBA trial in Washington State

August 2025
We had a blast at the Downriver Herding Trial on the Sepember long weekend. Carlee and I were back together getting our team work together, after my long absence due to my ankle fusion surgery. We day one was the AHBA trial, and Carlee earned her HTAD1 title very nicely in two runs. Carlee qualified every run on Saturday, and pulled of a Reserve High in Trial on Sunday from the CKC Started class. And after some 'gentle' prodding from my coach, I decided to move Carlee up to the Intermediate level, and we earned our first Q and first place in Intermediate Sheep! What fun!

Carlee's Uncle Jack also had a great time at the trial. Jack and I finished his HTAD11 title at the AHBA trial on Friday. We are working on our team work. Jack is always an adventure to trial, but he was a very good boy and tried very hard for me. I had a blast with him! Jack is now officially known as

Janel and Rayvn ALSO got their herding on at the trial on the long weekend, handily earning their JHD titla at the AHBA trial on the Friday. Very nice work. Here's a video of them doing their thing together!

We have our First AKC Champion out of our fabulous Hobo x Sari litter. Handsome Hobbes finished his CH in style winning two majors on the weekend to finish! Thank you Ronnie, Hobbe's mom for showing him off to his CH! We are over the moon and so proud of you both!
Hobbes is now known as AKC CH Zirkcreek Eye of the Tiger V Kanosak-BAAR

Our handsome blue boy Dreamer has been very busy in multiple venues. Dreamer most recently went back Best of Breed and then Best of Winners in New Mexico. Dreamer has singled out and just needs a couple of majors to finish his AKC Champion title

Miss Carlee had a fabulous weekend at the Downriver herding trial in May this year, earning two legs of her Stock Dog Started on sheep and finishing her CKC Started title, and HIGH IN TRIAL along the way!! Thanks to Kylee who showed Carlee while I recovered from ankle fusion surgery! If that wasn't enough Carlee was awarded the coveted Pepsi prize, which is awarded to the dog that shows the greatest stockmanship and kindness to their stock over the course of the entire weekend (four days of trialing!) I am incredibly proud of Carlee for demonstrating just how wonderful and versatile our beloved breed is. BTW this is the second time a Zirkcreek pup has been awarded the Pepsi prize. Carlee's uncle Draco was awarded the same prize in 2024. I am over the moon proud of all our Zirkcreek pups!
Rayvn got to try her paw at herding and Janel and she earned their first title together her CKC HT title. Rayvn got a lot of nice compliments from her judges. Her future is bright in the herding arena!!
We are celebrating excellence in multiple venues at Zirkcreek. We have top 10 dogs in both Herding and Competitive obedience in 2024 (stats come out May and June 2025
Janel's beloved superstar Draco, is the #1 Rottweiler in Canada in CKC Herding! To say we are proud of these two is an absolute understatement!! Draco is so very special in so many ways!!
Draco is in great company, his littermate brother Jack and his half brother Bruce are 2nd and 3rd in CKC Herding for 2024. We are over the moon proud of our Zirkcreek boys!
My two wonderful Veterans, Ali and EL are still kicking it in the Obedience rings. Both made the CKC Top 10 in 2024. Not too shabby girls! They'll be TEN years old this year!

April 2025
Dreamer and Dede earned their first Carting Title, their Carting Started title. They did a fine job with super nice scores!
Dreamer is also excelling in Nosework. He earned his Scent Novice Elite title, as well as his Novice container Scent Work title, and added 3 legs to his novice interior title for a total of 8.
Dreamer also has been trying his paw at Fast Cat, which he LOVED! He's also tried Disc, which again, he loves!! He's got 14 points and is very consistent at catching the frisbee! Dede also took Dreamer for an instinct test in herding, and he was very kind to his stock and showed promise for the sport if Dede can ever find time along with all the other fun sports he gets to play in, also proving this handsome and smart fellow is not just a pretty face!
